Running has always been a huge part of my life because of the amount of soccer I used to play.
I started to actually train and run longer distances during the winter of 2006 when a few friends decided to sign up for the Austin Marathon. It was not only a challenge, but a reason to hang out with friends. I am thankful that they took the initiative to sign up and allow me to run with them.
One thing I realized from the very beginning was that the right gear you wear will not only help you perform better, but will will provide you a better experience and minimize the risk of injury.
I have now completed 14 Marathons, 13 Half-Marathons, a number of 5k’s, and 5 mile races. I’m no superstar but have some experience and hope to share this with fellow runners.
My goal is to provide runners of all skill levels the gear and information they need to perform at their highest level.
Let me know if you have any questions! Happy running.
